This engine is delivered including kickstarter, shift pedal, front sprocket, gasket, intake manifold, and spark plug. These parts do not need to be purchased separately.
This is a manual engine (hand clutch) with four gears and the following shift pattern:
1 – neutral – 2 – 3 – 4
Important – oilThis engine is delivered (almost) dry to prevent oil leakage during transport and contains no oil. Fill the engine with 10W-40 motor oil before first use and check the oil level correctly. You can find a correct oil can via this link

Installation
This engine is a direct replacement for an original 50cc horizontal engine and can generally be mounted without modifications.
Connection:
- Mounting via standard suspension points
- Connect carburetor to the manifold
- Mount exhaust on the cylinder head
- Electrical connection via the existing wiring harness
Depending on the model, minor adjustments to connectors or wiring may be necessary.
Check before first use:
- The oil level
- The chain alignment and tension
- The operation of the throttle cable
- Electrical connection
Running in
Allow the engine to gradually reach operating temperature and avoid high revs and heavy loads during the first rides.
Drive variedly so that the internal parts can break in correctly. Check the oil level regularly and change the oil after the first usage period of 200-300km.
Starting
This engine is equipped only with a kickstarter and has no electric start. Thanks to the relatively low compression of a 50cc engine, it usually starts easily.
